How much is an Indian Rupee bill worth? If you sell and buy old banknotes in India, one Indian rupee note is worth much more than Re 1.

Indian Re 1 banknote that is in your collector’s box or wallet can help you earn hundreds of dollars without leaving the comfort of your own home.

All you need to do is make sure that the banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) meets specific criteria.

Selling an old Re 1 ticket can earn you Rs 45,000, but you must meet certain conditions. The signature of the former Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, HM Patel, is to appear on the one rupee note in question, along with the serial number 123456.

The One Rupee coin is available for purchase on the coinbazzar website.

You must go to the ‘Shop’ area of the site. The website describes the packet as “extremely rare, for collectors, a packet of 1957 rupees, signed by HM Patel, with the confusing number 123456”.

Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India issued a warning message in August this year regarding the online sale and purchase of old banknotes and coins.

“It has been brought to the attention of the Reserve Bank of India that certain items fraudulently use the Reserve Bank of India name / logo, and charge fees / commissions / taxes from the public, in transactions related to the purchase and the sale of old banknotes and coins through various online / offline platforms, ”RBI said in a statement.

The Reserve Bank of India has also stated that it does not deal in such situations and does not charge any fees or commissions. The RBI also said that no organization, company, person or other entity has been authorized to collect fees or commissions on its behalf in such transactions.
